Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA
Orientation: Polygamerous
Bio:
Enrico Nardini is a lover of all things game and geek! Enrico discovered gaming in his youth through board games, his favorites at that time being Heroquest and Crossbows and Catapults. Enrico was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons during summer camp and played his first RPG (Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition) at the age of twelve. From there his interest in hobby gaming expanded to include Magic the Gathering (and other CCGs) and Games Workshop miniature wargames.
Upon graduating from high school Enrico moved to Pittsburgh, PA to attend the University of Pittsburgh, where he studied Philosophy. College provided an entirely new gaming social circle and allowed Enrico to experiment with many different games. He also formed a relationship with Pittsburgh LGS Phantom of the Attic that continues to this day. At Phantom he met many like-minded individuals and played many games of Warhammer 40,000, Call of Cthulhu, and RPGs set in the World of Darkness.
In 1998 Enrico embarked on a career in professional wrestling. This was an amazing outlet for his performance urges and led to multiple opportunities to travel overseas and explore the world. After seven years of amazing adventures and great friends, Enrico returned to the university system to study education.
Enrico founded Play Unplugged in January of 2011 after realizing that the one thing that was constant throughout his many academic and career paths was his love of gaming. He is now dedicated to promoting “unplugged” gaming in all its myriad of forms.
