Mike Eaton- Freelance Writer, Play Unplugged

Position: Freelance Writer

Age: 25

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Bio:

Mike has been playing Magic: the Gathering since 1997, when packs of cards supplanted his former Transformers budget. This was important for his development. Before that, he played the Star Wars CCG put out by Decipher, and (unlike with Magic – thank you, family) he still has all his original cards. (If you never played the Decipher Star Wars game, buy some cheap cards on eBay. It’s so good.)

Mike attended the University of Pittsburgh (at Greensburg – where everyone has their own bathroom, and it’s glorious), where he completed his B.A. In English Writing. There, he learned short fiction, memoir, journalism, and a bit of editing and grammar, especially at the wise, grammarian feet of Professor Gary Lutz.

By day, he manages a motley crew at the Internet division of a book wholesaler. By night, he doesn’t.

When there isn’t a game night at his house, you’ll usually find him drinking (and writing articles about!) tea and/or watching some old TV series with which he grew up.

Mike reads as an ISFJ on the Myers-Briggs spectrum. This means he is Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging. According to the Internet, this means he would make a fantastic nurse.
